Programs & Services
Calgary Quest Children's Society (CQCS) has two major service areas. Calgary Quest School and Calgary Quest Resources
Calgary Quest School
Calgary Quest School (CQS) is our oldest and largest program. It provides an educational and therapeutic program for students with moderate to severe disabilities from the ages of 6 to 20. All students who meet the criteria are funded by a combination of Alberta Education funding, and school fees. Our team of teachers, therapists, instructional assistants, and support staff create a caring and safe environment which respects each student’s ability and supports them in maximizing their potential.
CQS offers a variety of programs for Elementary, Junior and High School aged children. Key highlights specific to CQS programs include:
Specialized curriculums
Modified Alberta curriculum
Music therapy
Life skills development
Self-regulation skills (social, emotional, behavioral)
Technology aids and support
A low student-teacher ratio
At CQS, all students — regardless of their unique challenges — will:
access education and therapy which will allow them to achieve their maximum potential
be treated with dignity and respect
be encouraged to find their “normal” in all aspects of life
have a learning program designed specifically for their individual needs
Calgary Quest Resources
